Sydney Oasis fans have been urged to leave the car at home and take advantage of the city’s public transport system to avoid getting caught in traffic delays, ahead of two sold-out shows at Accor Stadium on Friday and Saturday night.

The Harbour City shows come after Oasis played in front of 200,000 fans over three shows at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium.

Oasis’ return to Victoria’s capital clearly worked wonders with the owner of Melbourne icon Cherry Bar writing an open love letter to the Gallagher’s, praising the band for being the “economic juggernaut that this city and my bar desperately needed”.

Transport for NSW has urged concertgoers to travel via public transport for free by using their concert ticket.
