KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Thursday night, hundreds of people came together in Covenant Health Park to Light the Night, hosted by Blood Cancer United (formerly known as The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society).
This is an event that has been going on for years in Knoxville, but this was the first time it's been held outside of the University of Tennessee's campus.
This event is meant to bring light to the darkness of blood cancer, and sees people who want to learn more, who are actively battling the cancer or are honoring loved ones who lost their lives.
