Every newscast here at KARK 4 News starts with a countdown from a director.

Randy has worked at the station for a little over 5 years. Being a technical director at a news station requires laser attention to detail, quick action and strong communication.

"You just got to have like an overarching look at pretty much everything going on in the show," Randy said.

But while he's counting down for anchors and reporters during the day; at night, a ref gives a three count for him in the wrestling ring when he's pinning his opponent.
