LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The top-ranked Nebraska volleyball team swept its 14th consecutive opponent on Thursday. The Huskers defeated Illinois in straight sets, 25-11, 25-15, 25-14. Andi Jackson paced the Big Red in an extremely efficient offensive performance. Jackson recorded nine kills on nine swings, posting a rare 1.000 hitting percentage. Nebraska, as a team, hit .488 which is its highest mark since 2018.
Virginia Adriano and Harper Murray had eight kills apiece, while Laney Choboy set a career high with 20 digs.
Nebraska raised its record to 23-0 overall with a trip to 22nd-ranked Minnesota on Saturday.
