Actors Theatre of Little Rock's 2026 season, its fourth, marking the "America 250" celebration, opens with an "immersive" production of "Oklahoma!" -- music by Richard Rodgers, book and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II -- Feb. 25-March 14 at Little Rock's Quapaw Quarter United Methodist Church, 1601 Louisiana St.
The season, according to a news release, aims to hold up "a mirror ... to the country we've become, and to the people who have built it, challenged it and continue to redefine it. This season dares to ask: 'What is the American Dream, and who is it for?''"
The rest of the lineup:
April 15-May 2: "Fences" by August Wilson
"In the Heights," music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, book by Quiara Alegria Hades
Aug. 5-22: "Angels in America: Millennium Approaches" by Tony Kushner
