"Yes" votes continued to outpace the "no" votes on the ballot question that asked Maricopa County residents to finance nearly $900 million in improvements to the public health system.

The margin of support grew in the updated unofficial results posted the evening of Nov. 6.

The "yes" side is now ahead by 18,672 votes. An estimated 36,490 ballots had yet to be counted, the Maricopa County Elections Department reported.
