A man was arrested after allegedly arranging a meeting with a juvenile online and, after meeting in person, having inappropriate contact with them, the Vallejo Police Department said.
On Oct. 30 at around 7:45 p.m., officers receiving information from a family member that a juvenile may have been a victim of online child exploitation, according to police.
Officials said the initial investigation revealed that a man had contacted a juvenile via a social media app to meet in person in Vallejo. Police reported after the meeting, the juvenile disclosed that inappropriate contact had occurred.
On Thursday, the investigation identified 25-year-old Jonas Angel Fierro Alonso, of Santa Rosa, as the suspect accused of the online contact and meeting with the juvenile, authorities said.
