Cat rescued, residents to be displaced following fire in San Francisco

A cat was rescued and several residents will be displaced following a fire in San Francisco Thursday night, officials said.

The fire department said around 9:30 p.m. crews were on the scene of a fire on the 100 block of San Carlos Street, extinguishing the remaining hot spots.

According to authorities, a cat was rescued and several residents will be displaced because of the incident.

Officials added San Carlos Street between 18th and 19th streets was blocked.
