Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M) has upgraded its growth forecast for the domestic tractor industry to 10-12% for 2025-26 (FY26), a significant increase from its earlier estimate of 5-7%. The revision comes on the back of robust festive season demand and strong underlying rural economic factors, according to Rajesh Jejurikar, the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the company's Auto and Farm Sectors.
Speaking about the company's strong performance, Jejurikar stated that both the sport utility vehicle (SUV) and tractor segments witnessed strong double-digit growth in retail momentum during the festive period.
