SOUTH RANGE – The South Range 4th of July Committee announced its Fourth Annual Hunters Ball Saturday according to committee member Mike Renier.

The event is from 7-11 p.m., Saturday, at VWF hall, on South Baltic Avenue, in South Range. Slick Nickel, who has performed at past ballw, will be back again this year, with music for dancing or just listening.

Like last year, there will be a 50/50 raffle, along with gift basket drawings, Renier said.

The Hunters Ball is one of the committee’s fundraisers for the annual Fourth of July celebration that South Range is legendary for. To raise money for the annual 4th of July celebration, the committee puts on several events per year, including the annual Valentine’s Day dance.
