A heartfelt tribute to service and sacrifice

Students, staff and community members gathered at Goddard High School for the 17th annual Veterans Assembly, a tradition that honors local veterans and reflects on the meaning of service. The program blended history, music and heartfelt testimony, reminding all present that freedom is sustained by sacrifice.

The assembly opened with words of gratitude from students who thanked veterans for the privilege of living in a free nation.
