SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - From the Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation, small classroom ideas turned into big opportunities for students across the city, one creative teacher at a time.

Each year, the Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation invests in local teachers through its Excellence in Education initiative, a grant program designed to help educators bring creative ideas to life.

“Well, the Excellence in Education is a grant program, open to teachers in the Sioux Falls area who have innovative ideas to enhance learning in their classroom,” said Patrick Gale, Vice President of Community Investment for the foundation.
