A British holidaymaker has tragically died after coming off his bike on a cycling trip in Spain.

The 57-year-old tourist, who has not been named, is said to have “passed out” while he was cycling on the N-340 road on the outskirts of the resort town of Almunecar in the province of Granada. Almuñecar is a popular town among tourists, known as a popular destination on the Costa Tropical for both beach and nature tourism.
