Poundland & Dealz has issued a warning over a snack which may contain glass, a day after Lidl issued a similar alert. Poundland is recalling The Tasty Snack Co. Roasted and Salted Cashews because the product may contain glass.

The alert covers 100g packs with a batch code of 56T 25255 and a best-before date of July 19, 2026. Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling them.

The notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought it. A Food Standards Agency spokesman said: "If you have bought the above product do not consume it. Instead, return it to a Poundland store for a full refund (no proof of purchase required).
