Recently, Muddy Stilettos unveiled its pick of the best places to live in Kent for 2026 - and it included a cosy village with several unique claims to fame.
Marden, found between Tunbridge Wells and Maidstone , managed to secure itself a place on the prestigious list, alongside the likes of Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells, Cranbrook, Wye, Faversham, Plaxtol and Ramsgate. With a population of around 3,400 people, the leafy village has plenty of factors which make it a brilliant place to live, especially if you are a gin enthusiast or a fan of Doctor Who.
