CLINTON COUNTY, Ind. — Clinton County leaders are back from a last-minute trip tied to a major data center development proposal.

In the small town of Frankfort, life moves at a slower pace. For Katelyn Greeno, it's part of why she has stayed here her whole life.

"We like kind of being out of the hustle and bustle," Greeno said.

But change could be coming fast. Land just northwest of Frankfort could soon be home to a data center campus, pending approval from county commissioners.

Nov. 18 is the deadline for commissioners to act on approving the rezoning.

On Wednesday, county leaders said they went on a trip to New Jersey to tour an emerging data center facility. One commissioner confirmed the trip was paid for by the developer, saying attorneys cleared it. It's still unclear how much w
