INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating following a crash involving an Indianapolis Public Schools bus early Friday on the city's near west side.

The crash was reported around 6:30 a.m. Nov. 7 in the 3400 block of West 11th Street , near North Tibbs Avenue and 10th Street.

A 13News crew at the scene found an IPS bus with heavy side damage just below the driver side window, as well as a second vehicle with a smashed front end.

A statement from IPS said the bus was transporting students to Arsenal Tech High School at the time of the crash, and no students were injured.

"A replacement bus was called and is transporting those students to school," the statement said.
