State pensioners will be getting a special payment in the run-up to Christmas.
The DWP will be handing out a £10 Christmas Bonus to help with costs over the expensive festive period.
The extra money is paid out just before Christmas and enters bank accounts automatically.

This is on top of Winter Fuel Payments, worth up to £300, which are being issued to around nine million pensioners during November and December.
The bonus payments are aimed to help vulnerable pensioners on low incomes as well as disabled people.
