It’s a new month, and live local theater is the highlight in several communities this weekend.

Visit the “Little Shop of Horrors”

Soo Theatre will present a production of “Little Shop of Horrors” starting this weekend.

Performances will be at 7 p.m. on Nov. 7, 8, 14, 15 and at 2 p.m. on Nov. 9 and 16.

Tickets prices are $20 for general admission and $12 for students.

Experience “The Sound of Music”

The Northland Players will bring “The Sound of Music” to the Cheboygan Opera House stage for five performances this month.

Shows are at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 7, 8, 14 and 15. There will be a 2 p.m. show on Sunday, Nov. 9.

Tickets are $15-$25 for adults. Seniors receive a $5 discount
