A man who works in a forgotten trade is encouraging people who have failed their GCSE's to give it a go, after demonstrating he can earn £28 in a minute.

The tradesman, who posts on TikTok under the handle @bricksandslides, shares content relating to his job as a bricklayer. In a recent video he reached out to people who may have failed their GCSE's in the summer and were looking for a new, and more practical challenge.

While filming the video he explained that in the length of recording, around one minute, he had made £28 alone - despite him stopping to talk to the camera.

The tradesman said: "Here's a little tip for anyone out there that's just failed all of their GCSE's and you're looking for something in life [and to] really make a go at something, bricklaying could be that.
