Avoid gridlock before it happens — eight closures are scheduled for roadwork on provincial highways in Waterloo on Nov. 7, 2025:

Highway 85 northbound between Highway 7 Ic-victoria St-kitchener, Kitchener and King Street N, Waterloo: two left lanes closed from Nov. 5 at 10 p.m. until Nov. 7 at 6 a.m.

Highway 401 westbound between Cedar Creek Road / Waterloo Road 97 and Cedar Creek Road / Waterloo Road 97, Kitchener: one right lane closed from Oct. 27 at 9 p.m. until Nov. 8 at 5 a.m.

Highway 7/8 eastbound between Victoria Street, New Hamburg and Courtland Avenue, Kitchener: one alternating lane closed from Oct. 29 at 10 p.m. until Nov. 7 at 6 a.m.
