PINE RIVER — The Pine River-Backus School Board reviewed 2024-2025 Comprehensive Achievement & Civic Readiness goals during their Monday, Nov. 3, regular meeting.
The school district had both successes and failures in their Comprehensive Achievement & Civic Readiness (formerly known as World's Best Workforce).
The district goals were split into four parts for 2024-2025: kindergarten readiness, achievement gap, career and college readiness, and graduation rate. There's also a goal to prepare students to be lifelong learners.
The district set a goal for 80% kindergarten readiness, and an average proficiency for incoming kindergarten students of 80% across four categories. The district succeeded in these with 80.4% and 81.52%, respectively.
