SAN ANTONIO — A man was stabbed and another taken into custody during an incident on the northside late Thursday night, police say. The attack happened after one of the men demanded the other’s wallet.

SAPD responded to the 11100 block of Janet Lee around 10:15 p.m. for reports of an aggravated robbery in progress.

Police tell us that the man went to meet a woman and found another man there with her.

Both of the men began arguing and police say as one of them began to leave, that’s when the other one demanded his wallet. The 40-year-old victim refused and got into his car, and that’s when police say he was stabbed.

The victim was stabbed in the shoulder and leg and drove himself to a nearby Texaco to call for help.

Police were able to take the 35-year-old suspect into custody. No wo
