The North Hunterdon field hockey team spent nearly all of the first quarter of its NJSIAA North Group 3 quarterfinal against Middletown North piling on pressure and creating chances in front of the cage.

After recording 13 shots on goal and nine penalty corners, North Hunterdon scored just once in the opening quarter.
