WACO, Texas — Multiple American Airline flights from Central Texas regional airports were canceled today as federal aviation disruptions continue.

The airline reported cancellations affecting flights departing from Waco Regional Airport and Killeen Regional Airport. Many of the cancelled flights were scheduled to connect through Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.

The Federal Aviation Administration is currently canceling flights at DFW and other major airports because of the government shutdown. American Airlines has not confirmed whether the Central Texas cancellations are directly related to those broader disruptions.
