GEORGETOWN, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – An investigation is underway in Scott County after a person was hit by a train earlier this week in Georgetown.

According to police, the incident happened on Wednesday. Officers say the victim was taken to UK Hospital for treatment. Their condition has not been released.
