Rockstar Games has delayed Grand Theft Auto VI to November 19th, 2026. The long-awaited game was due to release in May of next year.

Rockstar Games sent out a statement regarding the delay . “Hi everyone, Grand Theft Auto VI will now release on Thursday, November 19, 2026,” the post read. The company continued to add that the delay is due to giving the studio more time to polish the game before launch.

“We are sorry for adding additional time to what we realize has been a long wait, but these extra months will allow us to finish the game with the level of polish you have come to expect and deserve.”

Grand Theft Auto VI had been previously delayed as well. In May of this year, Rockstar Games announced that it was pushing the game from its original release date to May 26, 2026.
