Jaclyn Moriarty is taking adult readers on a time-traveling trip.

PEOPLE has an exclusive first look at her latest novel. Moriarty will release her forthcoming book, Time Travel for Beginners , on Aug. 4 with Berkley, an imprint of Penguin Publishing Group.

The new novel follows strangers Anna, Teddy and Jade who all seek out help from the Time Travel Agency. Anna, a single mother, "is in desperate need of change, and the Agency gives her the chance to begin her career — and life — anew," the publisher's official synopsis teases.
