Budgam, November 7 : Awami Ittehaad Party (AIP) today held a massive public rally at Soibugh, where senior party leaders and workers gathered in large numbers to mobilise support for the Budgam by-election.

While addressing the gathering, Abrar Rashid, son of incarcerated MP Er Rasheed, delivered a hard-hitting speech, launching a scathing attack on NC, PDP and BJP for decades of political betrayal and damage to Jammu & Kashmir.

Abrar said, “Had NC not rigged the 1987 elections, Syed Salahuddin would have been the Chief Minister today. The rigging changed the political landscape forever and pushed Kashmir into turmoil.”
