LUBBOCK, Texas – College GameDay announced Friday morning that Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and Texas Tech alumni Patrick Mahomes will serve as the guest picker for Saturday’s highly anticipated matchup between Texas Tech and BYU.

College GameDay, ESPN’s traveling college football pregame show, will broadcast live from Jones AT&T Stadium.

Kickoff for the Texas Tech vs. BYU game is set for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
