GRAND FORKS – The ongoing federal shutdown continues to impact airports and air traffic, but as of Friday morning, Grand Forks International is not experiencing any delays or cancellations. Forty airports are expected to undergo air traffic reductions, with Minneapolis-St. Paul International being one of them. MSP is currently the main destination for GFK.
Delta Air Lines has notified the airport that it is a situation to monitor, as there is always the potential for delays with Minneapolis-St. Paul being a Delta hub.
“We are continuing to monitor the situation, but there are no delays or cancelations that we are aware of so far,” GFK executive director Ryan Reisinger said.
FlightAware, a flight tracking site, listed two Minot International Airport flights as canceled for Friday, Nov. 7
