Thiruvananthapuram Metro project to become reality, total of 27 stations; cabinet approves first

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Metro project is moving closer to a reality to boost development in the capital city. The cabinet has approved the first-phase alignment of the project. The metro line from Pappanamcode to Eanchakkal will have 27 stations. Construction of the state's second metro rail is expected to commence this year itself. The project will be implemented through Kochi Metro Rail Limited.
