Boaz Man Charged with Sexual Extortion, Accused of Threatening to Share Victim’s OnlyFans Content

BOAZ, Ala. — A Boaz man is behind bars after being indicted on charges of sexual extortion and harassing communications, according to reports from WAFF.

Authorities say Christopher Lynn Cook allegedly created a fake Facebook account and used it to obtain nude photos and videos of his victim. Court documents state that Cook threatened to share the victim’s OnlyFans content with her family if she refused to send him additional explicit material.

Cook was taken into custody and is being held in the DeKalb County Jail without bond.

He is scheduled to be arraigned on January 8.
