HAMMOND, La. (WVUE) - Deputies are investigating several vehicle burglaries in the Hammond area and say two burglars shot at a man during one of the incidents.

The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to identify the pair.

The victim told investigators he was driving Tuesday night and looked at two suspicious men who then opened fire on his vehicle. No one was hurt.

Deputies also linked the duo to multiple vehicle burglaries on Halloween night.

The sheriff’s office asks the public for information as detectives search for the burglars.
