Authorities have recovered the boat involved in the drowning death of a Chaska man in mid-October.

On Oct. 18, 69-year-old Brian Herridge and a 69-year-old Colorado woman were in a 26-foot jet boat when it capsized on Lake of the Woods in far northern Minnesota, sending both occupants into the 48-degree water.

Herridge and the woman were recovered from the water by a nearby boater, but Herridge, who is from Chaska, didn't survive. The Colorado woman was taken by ambulance to Lakewood Health Center in Baudette and treated for exposure to the cold water.
