PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- After a period of uncertainty, SNAP benefits have begun to arrive on Oregonians' EBT cards.
According to an alert on the Oregon Department of Human Services website, and several KOIN 6 News viewers have confirmed, that SNAP benefits were sent out Friday morning.
In the message on the ODHS website, the department said that despite the government shutdown, they were able to issue full SNAP benefits for November.
"The federal government remains shut down, but ODHS was able to issue full November SNAP benefits," the message reads. "People in Oregon who receive SNAP will see 100% of their November benefit amount beginning on November 7, 2025."
