KALAMAZOO — When Greensky Bluegrass energized northern Michigan fans with two straight nights of jam-filled shows at Interlochen Center for the Arts in late August, it was just an appetizer for another, even more electrifying two-night stand in their home state.
The Kalamazoo-bred progressive bluegrass band celebrated its 25th anniversary over Halloween weekend with release of a new album, “XXV,” and two star-studded concerts at Kalamazoo’s Wings Event Center that not only featured fellow Michiganders Lindsay Lou and Holly Bowling, but legendary fiddler and mandolinist Sam Bush.
