The Denver Broncos own the best record in the NFL - at least for a few days - following a 10-7 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders .
Sitting at 8-2 on the season, Broncos head coach Sean Payton is pleased, but he knows his team's execution remains an ongoing process. “Obviously, we’ve got to clean up the penalties, we’ve got to clean up some of the execution. And that is an ongoing thing that probably never ends. You search for that Shangri-La,” he said after the game.
“Right now, we’re a team that’s sitting at eight wins. I think we’re the only team that’s sitting there. And yet, we’re constantly looking internally. It was a tough night offensively, obviously, and I give them credit," he added.
