CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - A caregiver was assaulted at Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital earlier this month.
The attack happened on Nov. 1.
According to a Cleveland Clinic spokesperson, the suspect entered the hospital and threatened the caregiver.
The spokesperson said the situation was quickly contained, no one was injured and the suspect was arrested on-site.
“The safety of our caregivers, patients, and visitors is our top priority. Violence against healthcare workers is unacceptable and will not be tolerated,” said a Cleveland Clinic spokesperson.
19 News has reached out to police for additional information on the suspect.
Cleveland Clinic officials are also conducting an internal review “to ensure we maintain a safe and secure environment for everyone in our facilities.”
