SHREVEPORT, La. - Three flights were canceled at Shreveport Regional Airport on Friday as the federal government shutdown continues to cause disruption across the national air travel system, according to Shreveport Regional Airport Director Larry Blackwell.
Blackwell confirmed that the cancellations affect one flight each from American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and United Airlines.
“After reviewing today’s flight schedule, there are only three cancellations associated with the government shutdown,” Blackwell said. He noted that the budget airline Allegiant Air, which also services the airport, was not affected.
