Stranger ThingsSeason 5 premieres this November 26, with the first four episodes arriving exclusively on Netflix. After that, fans will have to wait until Christmas Day to watch three more, and then the grand finale premieres on New Year's Eve on the streamer. Well, that is, if you want to see the series finale on your TV set, since Netflix announced it had reached an agreement with theater chains, and the highly-anticipated conclusion will be playing in theaters. The reasons are obvious, given the strong cult following the series has, and how far the fans will go when it comes to enhancing the experience. Nevertheless, as executive producer and director of the series Shawn Levy has revealed, there is a more "selfish" reason why the Stranger Things finale will be screened in theaters.
