Video: First Ward Living Grace Pantry steps in to offer relief for workers during shutdown

PINE BLUFF, Ark. – The First Ward Living Grace Pantry will be hosting a food giveaway this weekend for the Pine Bluff community.

The giveaway will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at 1201 Commerce Road.

This event is being held amid the government shutdown and the uncertainty of how it will affect SNAP benefits in Arkansas.

The event is free and open to the public.

In October, the pantry also held an emergency food giveaway for Arkansas government employees hit by the shutdown.
