BRS MPs KR Suresh Reddy and Divakonda Damodar Rao have lodged complaints with the Election Commission of India, accusing the Congress government of violating the Model Code of Conduct ahead of the Jubilee Hills bypoll. They demanded CAPF supervision and live-streaming of polling to ensure fairness, citing misuse of official machinery and biased policing.

Hyderabad: BRS MPs KR Suresh Reddy and Divakonda Damodar Rao on Friday lodged a formal complaint with the Election Commission of India, alleging large-scale violations of the Model Code of Conduct by the Congress government in the run-up to the Jubilee Hills by-election .

They urged the ECI to conduct the bypoll directly under the supervision of the Central Armed Police Forces ( CAPF ) to ensure a free and fair election.
