This year’s Best Rock Album nominees include Deftones’ new album private music , Turnstile’s NEVER ENOUGH , and HAIM’s I quit . Linkin Park have also earned their first Grammy nomination in over 15 years for their post-Chester Bennington comeback album FROM ZERO , while Yungblud caps off his massive 2025 with a nomination for his 2025 LP IDOLS .

Whereas the definition for Best Alternative Album a little confusing, Best Rock Album is more direct: It’s those albums with “at least 51% newly-recorded material” (and is given to the artist, producer, and engineer/mixer). In 2025, the gold statue went to The Rolling Stones for their first album in 20 years, Hackney Diamonds
