APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) - An investigation into a disturbance with a weapon complaint is underway in Appleton after officers were called to a home overnight.
According to the Appleton Police Department, officers were called to the 1800 block of West Brewster Street around 12:30 a.m. on November 7.
The dispatch was reportedly due to a 'disturbance with a weapon,' and when officers arrived, they were met by the person who reported the incident.
Evidence of a physical altercation within the residence and a firearm being shot was found during the investigation.
After canvassing the neighborhood, no gunshot injuries were reported; however, one residence was damaged.
