Gov. Dan McKee is ready to again cordon off the Rhode Island State House rotunda for his upcoming State of the State speech , likely setting up another s howdown with activists who want to hold a demonstration there during the annual address.
McKee's office placed a "hold" on the rotunda, the open central area under the State House's marble dome, for the State of the State speech on Tuesday, Jan. 13 starting at 2 p.m., Karen Greco, spokesperson for the Department of Administration told The Journal.
