Former President Joe Biden will speak at a gala in downtown Omaha.

He is set to speak at the Ben Nelson Gala at the Hilton near 10th and Cass streets around 8 p.m. today.

Every year Nebraska Democrats gather, honoring party leaders, elected officials, and volunteers.

The theme of the 2025 gala is "Diverse, Strong, and Ready."

Omaha Mayor John Ewing Jr. will emcee the event.
