MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Madison Police Department officers found several spent shell casings Thursday night after gunfire was reported on the city’s east side.

After heading to Lien Road and Autumn Lake Parkway around 11:10 p.m., officers said they found spent rounds on Lien Road.

MPD officers spoke to witnesses, and got ahold of home security camera footage in the area.

Police do not think anyone was shot, and they did not find any property damage.

MPD is reviewing doorbell footage and other evidence in this shots fired investigation.
