Happy Friday! We are kicking off this Friday afternoon with partly cloudy skies and breezy conditions. Enjoy the sunshine and dry conditions while you can. Tonight, conditions are expected to deteriorate as storms move in.
The SPC has placed our viewing area under a marginal (level 1/5) risk for severe weather across our viewing area overnight tonight into Saturday morning. Hazards include damaging straight-line wind gusts, some large hail, and an isolated tornado threat.
Storm timing will start around 11 pm tonight and will push out of our viewing area around 3 am tomorrow morning.
You will want to stay weather-aware and keep an eye on the radar if you are heading out to any Friday Night Football games tonight. Wouldn’t hurt to turn those Local 3 Weather app notifications on befo
