Montgomery police have identified a pedestrian who was killed in a September crash.
At about 10:20 a.m. Sept. 8, police responded to the area of Eastern Boulevard at Carmichael Road on a call of a vehicle collision involving a pedestrian, said Lt. Ernestina McGriff, spokeswoman for the Montgomery Police Department. At the scene, officers found pedestrian Jonathan Young, 57, of Montgomery with life-threatening injuries, she said. Young was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead on Sept. 25, McGriff said.
The vehicle remained on scene until officers arrived. There were no other injuries reported.
The fatality report was delayed pending the completion of a forensic analysis, McGriff said. More: Montgomery man gets 30 years in 'shootout' that claimed woman's life
